So, Season 4, what can I make of you? For my season-end recap, I’m going to go from big picture down to little detail, working through some of the things I loved, and some of the things I didn’t.

( Spoilers through 4x22, but none for Season 5. Not even wishful thinking. )

Much as I might like to pretend otherwise, Season 4 did not end with "Wonder-ful." So, here we go. "All or Nothing."

Fair warning: I did not like this episode. And apparently, I felt very strongly about how much I disliked it, because this might be my longest recap, yet. Go me.

Whew. OK, folks, here we go. "Shooting Star." Among people who are fans of this show, this episode is probably among the most controversial (totally not counting the right-wing nuts who thought "The First Time" was a sign of the apocalypse). So Glee is one of my biggest guilty pleasures, and then they do a whole episode on guilty pleasures. I see no problem with this. In fact, I think we can take the “guilty” right out of the equation. Hedonism for the win!

Sometimes I think Glee is confused about the decade in which it exists. For an episode that was all about iconic movie music, it sure felt like an ode to 80s movies.
